Hemel Hempstead – Good Friday – Sponsored Walk & Supporters Bus Info
Sponsored Walk
We are again organising a sponsored walk to the Hemel Hempstead game on Good Friday. An approximately 12 mile walk from the Meadow, over to Berkhamsted where we join the Grand Union Canal and then onto Hemel via Boxmoor.
The walk would leave at 8am from the Meadow, allowing us plenty of time to make our way along the route and stop for refreshments as required. We will be joined on the walk by our CUFC Womens representatives, raising money to support their finances after a challenging season in Tier 4 where they are going up against full time, much better funded Women’s teams associated with Championship clubs on a weekly basis and also in support of Thames Valley Air Ambulance who bring hospital-level care to you by air. Medicine and equipment. Paramedics and doctors. Their team are highly trained and ready for any eventuality. Giving you the best chance when the worst happens, covering the Berks, Bucks and Oxon area.
If you would like to donate to the GoFundMe then the link can be found here – plese share with your friends, family & colleagues.
If you would like to join us for the walk, then please contact Ryan Woolnough or Keith Pittman for more info and to confirm whether you will be needing free transport back to Chesham for committed walkers that require it on the Supporters Bus, see more info below.
Supporters Bus
We will also be running a bus to Hemel allowing our supporters to drink in the pubs of Chesham pre-match.
This bus will be leaving Chesham Broadway at 2pm and returning after the game, you MUST book to travel on this service. To both allow you to enjoy the hospitality of the clubs high street pub & restaurant sponsors and to avoid you having to find parking near Hemel’s ground which can be difficult on bigger matchdays
This will be a double decker bus, we will be charging £5 for ALL – please book your seats online here – https://custrust.co.uk/product/hemel-double-decker-2026/
Please share both these messages with supporters who may not be on social media
